Our Services
At the Cross-border Research Association, we specialise in applied research, strategic consulting, and capacity building in the areas of supply chain security, border management, and trade facilitation. We offer the following services to public authorities, international organisations, research institutes, and private-sector stakeholders worldwide.

Research & Innovation Projects
We participate in and coordinate international research and innovation projects, particularly within EU and Swiss frameworks (e.g., Horizon Europe, H2020, and SERI-funded programs). Our role ranges from concept development and proposal writing to full project coordination, technical contributions, and impact dissemination.
Strategic Advisory
CBRA provides expert advisory services to customs administrations, border agencies, and intergovernmental bodies (such as WCO, UNEP, and UNCTAD). We support policy formulation, strategic planning, standardisation, and implementation of modern border management practices.
Training & Capacity Building
We design and deliver tailor-made training programs, workshops, and educational games focused on customs risk management, green customs, and supply chain resilience. Our interactive learning tools engage officers and decision-makers in hands-on capacity building.
Studies & Impact Assessments
CBRA conducts independent studies, evaluations, and impact assessments related to customs and border processes, tariff impacts, cross-border crime, logistics digitalization, and supply chain sustainability. We apply both qualitative and quantitative methods, offering evidence-based recommendations.
Stakeholder Engagement & Dissemination
With a broad international network, CBRA facilitates stakeholder consultations, pilot testing, and dissemination activities. We manage communication strategies for large-scale projects and organize technical meetings, panels, and awareness campaigns.
